Grobag Baby Sleeping Bags are the safe alternative to blankets and sheets. With Health Canada regulations stating that no loose bedding should be available in a baby's crib, a Grobag is the perfect solution. Your baby can still wear his or her pajamas while they sleep cozily in their Grobag. Many babies kick off top bedding and become chilly in the middle of the night, while Grobag® baby sleeping bags keep babies warm and cozy, whatever position they end up in by the morning. This means a safer sleeping environment for your baby and more sleep for you.
Grobag® recently sponsored a survey by the Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths (FSID), a leading baby charity, which discovered that 52% of parents thought a baby's bedding should be left loose. This is a worrying statistic as research in the UK found that loose bedding could increase the risk of cot death by up to 9 times. We spend a lot of time ensuring that Grobag® baby sleeping bags meet all relevant standards, and they also ensure that they provide comprehensive guidance and information about using Grobag® baby sleeping bags safely and correctly.

2.5 tog Grobag® baby sleeping bags are ideal for autumn, winter and spring and can be used right up until the summer nights become warm. So, if your nursery is usually 20°C or below, we recommend a 2.5 tog baby sleeping bag.
1.0 togs are ideal for use from late spring to late summer when the nights are warmer. However, if you live in a particularly mild part of the country or if you have well insulated and heated accommodation and your nursery is regularly 21°C or above, you may prefer a 1.0 tog Grobag® baby sleeping bag for year round use. They are also very useful in early spring and autumn for day-time naps whilst your baby is still in a 2.5 tog grobag® baby sleeping bag at night.
0.5 tog Grobag® baby sleeping bags are for use in high summer, for holidays abroad, or if your child is unwell and has a raised temperature.
Please note: A number of external factors determine the tog rating of the sleeping bag that should be used. These include the quantity of clothing the baby is wearing, the temperature of the infant's bedroom, the baby's health and the amount of bedding necessary to keep an individual infant warm- this may vary as it does for adults.
Check your baby regularly to ensure they do not overheat.
Your grobag® baby sleeping bag comes with a free nursery thermometer to help you select which tog baby sleeping bag to use and what sleepwear to put your baby in.
